Ready to take a quest to the desert, as a spiritual-seeker, and visit the wise elders of long ago?

GAME DETAILS:
A slow-paced, first-person experience in a desert setting. Meditative, relaxed-vibe and interactive play for a forgotten time and learning spiritual insights as you go.

Set in Alexandria, Egypt and the deserts of Egypt in the 300s.

• Explore the world and ways of the wise desert mothers and fathers—real figures of the past. (inspired by the book The Way of the Desert Elders

Book cover

The game is pulled from the characters and themes in this book "The Way of the Desert Elders"

Learn the wisdom and ways of the "abbas" and "ammas"
(fathers and mothers)

Slow down your racing mind and restlessness, and journey from the port city to the abandon places.

First, you arrive at the port in ancient Alexandria!

You meet 3 people in Alexandria before you begin a desert journey to the desolate places in the Egyptian desert where hermits where monastic communities began.

Travel the desert path, and find out about the 9 "deadly sins" that bewildered the ancient ascetics—and still hinder us today; and choose where you want to visit, who you want to teach you, and what you want to encounter.

Thank you for sharing this game with others and contributing to improving and expand this game.

When Desert Pilgrim Quest is financially supported, new encounters with spiritual mothers and father from long ago and activities will be added. (6 more lessons from desert father Evagrius and other game play with new locations are planned.)
